About Xirea

Our mission to make privacy-respecting AI accessible to everyone.

Our Mission

Xirea was created to solve a simple but critical problem: as AI becomes more integrated into daily life, people are forced to choose between using powerful AI tools and maintaining their privacy.

We believe this is a false choice. Modern hardware is capable of running sophisticated language models locally. Open-source models have reached a quality level that serves most everyday use cases. The technology exists— someone just needed to make it accessible.

That someone is us. Xirea is our answer to the question: “What if my AI assistant actually respected my privacy?”

“Privacy should not be a luxury feature. It should be the default.”

The Problem We're Solving

Cloud Dependency

Most AI tools require constant internet connectivity, making them useless offline and creating latency issues.

Data Harvesting

Your conversations train models, inform product decisions, and may be exposed in data breaches.

Subscription Fatigue

Monthly fees add up. AI assistance becomes a recurring cost rather than a one-time tool purchase.

Lack of Transparency

Proprietary systems operate as black boxes. You cannot verify what happens to your data.

Xirea addresses all of these issues through local-first architecture, open source code, and zero-cost access.

Our Values

These principles guide every decision we make—from code architecture to community engagement.

Privacy by Design

Every technical decision starts with privacy. We do not add tracking and then let you opt out—we never build it in.

Accessibility

Private AI should be available to everyone, regardless of budget. Xirea is free forever with no premium tiers or paywalls.

Community First

This project exists for its users. Features, priorities, and direction are shaped by community needs—not investor demands.

Digital Sovereignty

Your data is yours. Your computing power is yours. We believe in tools that respect user autonomy.
